Great wrinkle creams are few and far between, and typically super expensive to boot. But BaeBody may have come out with a product that is relatively cheap and works well for a majority of its customers. It is definitely an eye catcher on Amazon thanks to the amassed nearly 1800 reviews and a 4.8 star rating.

But does it actually live up to the reviews online?

Especially with crowd favorites, I like to look at a few things when I’m reviewing a new product. Usually in regards to quality, overall effects, bang for your buck, and the ingredients list. And while this one is still one of my favorites, there are a few things you should look at before purchasing it.

How big is the bottle?

The bottle is bigger than a lot of other products you can get. It’s nearly 2 oz, which is great because it’s also really cheap. So you’re getting a whole lot of money for very little money. It also comes with a pump, which seems a bit weird with this kind of bottle. Some complain that you can’t get it all out with the pump, which is frustrating.

How does it smell?

I didn’t notice too much of a smell, but there are a few complaints that it smells like an old lady’s perfume. If it does it’s not super strong and I wouldn’t worry about it too much. There’s nothing said in the ingredients list about perfumes that I can see so there is no reason to expect anything other than a clean product.

Is it oily?

Yes it is kind of oily, but it mostly affects people with already kind of oily skin as far as what I’ve seen from other reviewers. There are some, though, who claim this dried out their faces a lot. That may be because of a reaction to other ingredients, it’s worth it to to try a little bit of it on a small patch of skin before rubbing it all over your face just to see how it will react with your skin.

How quickly does it work?

This part is highly debateable. It claims to work within a few days of use, but that’s not typical with retinol products. Most other retinol products only see results after a few weeks. There are quite a few customer reviews, though that are happy because it worked quickly and without issues.

What is the quality of ingredients?

This is something important to look at in all products. BaeBody claims that 71% of the ingredients are organic, which is great except there’s no way to track if this is true. Most companies that claim their products are organic have certificates or some sort of proof to show this, but BaeBody doesn’t provide anything like that.

The only real anti-wrinkle ingredient is the retinol, which as I said before, will typically take a few weeks to show any real progress. There isn’t anything in here that is particularly scary or that will cause a rash or other reaction unless you are specifically allergic to it.

Otherwise, though, these are all typically excellent skin care ingredients.

And because of this product I think there is something else I should add when reviewing, how inflated does it look altogether? In reading other online reviews much of what I found was in regards to the positive reviews seeming overdone to the point of ridiculousness. And if you read through any of them on amazon they do seem pretty thrilled.

This can be because of two things, either the product is really just that great, or they got it for cheap or free. Because we can’t really know the reason behind it, it’s safe to take this product with a grain of salt. There is no warranty, but it is really cheap, so if you don’t like it you’re only out about $20.

Overall I would still recommend the product, if for nothing else, it’s cheap. It’s perfect for a starter or preventative product, but I wouldn’t expect it to work on any deep wrinkles anytime soon.
